Typed letter from C.D. Spivak in Denver, Colorado to Mrs. M. Amter, Secretary of Ladies Shroud Society in Denver, Colorado informs that Spivak is glad Mrs. M. Amter has brought up the matter of the expenses of the burial of JCRS patients in front of the Board of Trustees. Informs that this matter has been discussed for some time and the board is relieved of this burden during the last year because the Ladies Shroud Society was kind enough to take up the cost of burials. Spivak informs that JCRS is in possession of $56.01 which is the sum of the effects of the patients who died at the Sanatorium and who were buried by the Ladies Shroud Society. Informs that Spivak has enclosed a check for $56.01 "Which represents the amounts left by the following deceased patients: Sarah Pitchinoc $1.94, Fannie Katz $1.64, Ester Sayette $2.22, Fannie Berman $1.90, Jos. Gwelbman $9.45, Julius S. Meyers $1.25, Sam'l Krawitz $5.63, D. Gwertzman $16.25, Louis Pikov $7.05, David Gordon $2.13, Isidore Sparber $4.80, Israel Zineman $1.75, total $56.01." Letter is unsigned but "Secretary" is typed at the bottom.
