Letter from C.D. Spivak to Dr. J. Webster Horton, 1909 June 10
Typed letter from C.D. Spivak in Denver, Colorado, to Dr. J. Webster Horton in Chattanooga, Tennessee, replying about the case of Mrs. Rebecca Vortz wanting to be sent to the JCRS Sanatoroium. Spivak states that it would be impossible for her to immediately be admitted, that there are no current vacancies and that people are in line. It says to send Mrs. Vortz to Denver as soon as possible and to provide her with sufficient funds for room and board when she is waiting to be admitted. Spivak states that the female patient stays on average around 4 to 6 months longer then most male patients. Spivak is requesting to send Mrs. Vortz to Denver as soon as possible to get an application on file and to provide her with sufficient means of pay. Letter is unsigned but "Secretary" is typed at the bottom.
