Typed letter from C.D. Spivak in Denver, Colorado to Mrs. M. Amter, Secretary of the Ladies Shroud Society, in Denver, Colorado informs that Spivak is glad Amter has brought up the matter of the expenses of the burial of many JCRS patients before the Board of Trustees. Spivak informs that he has found $56.01 which represents various amounts found among the effects of patients who have died at the Sanatorium. Informs that he has enclosed a check for $56.01 left by the following deceased patients: "Sarah Pitchinoc $1.94, Fannie Katz $1.64, Fannie Berman $2.22, Ester Sayette $1.90, Jos. Gwelbman $9.45, Julius S. Meyers $1.25, Sam'l Krawitz $5.63, D. Gwertzman $16.25, Louis Pikov $7.05, David Gordon $2.13, Isidore Sparber $4.80, Israel Zineman $1.75." Spivak thanks the Ladies Shroud Society on behalf of the JCRS Board of Trustees for their kindness. Letter is unsigned but "Secretary" is typed at the bottom.
