Scope and Contents
From the Series: This series of patient records includes medical reports and histories, statistical data of patients, x-rays, and death certificates. The patient files include applications, correspondence and some may also contain photographs and personal items.
Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
On the address side of the envelope at the top right corner is a red two cent stamp. On the front at the top center is a postage stamp in black ink that reads "Denver Colo., Oct 22 8:30PM 1909." Underneath the first stamp is a second in purple ink that reads "Balto. MD, Oct 26, 1909 Inquiry Division." At the bottom center is a third stamp upside down in black ink that reads "Denver Colo., Oct 22 8:30PM 1909." A forth and fifth stamp are located in the right center of the envelope. The forth in pink ink reads "Balto. MD, Oct 26 1909 General Delivery 3." The fifth is a stamp in black ink that reads "Balt [illegible] Oct [illegible] 7:30AM MD." In the bottom right hand corner is a note written in pencil that reads "Left the city [illegible]." Stamped over the delivery address is the image of a hand pointing to return address in pink ink that reads "Return to writer. Unclaimed from Baltimore MD, Clerk No. 9."
