Scope and Contents
From the Series: This series of patient records includes medical reports and histories, statistical data of patients, x-rays, and death certificates. The patient files include applications, correspondence and some may also contain photographs and personal items.
Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
At the top of the front of the envelope is a postal stamp in black ink that reads "Denver, Colo Jul 6 830PM 1909." Another postal stamp is on the right hand side of the envelope that reads "West Hoboken N.J. Aug 7 230PM 1909." At the front, on the bottom is a stamp in red ink that reads "Route No." and then 1-19, the numbers 3, 5, 9, 11, and 12 are crossed out in pencil. In the center of the front of the envelope is a stamp in red ink that reads "unknown." On the right hand side, is a stamp in red ink in the shape of a hand, pointing to the sender's address that reads "returned to writer." A red, two cent postage stamp is at the right hand corner. "West Hoboken" of the receipient's address is crossed out in blue crayon. On the back of the envelope near the right side is a postal stamp in black ink that reads "West Hoboken, N.J. Jul 9 1120AM 1909, Rec'd."
