Personal Correspondence, bulk: 1877 - 1917
Abstract
M157.01.0001.00002 contains several hand-written letters and notes. Most appear to be correspondence between Ammi Bradford Hyde and his parents, Asahel J. Hyde and Marie H. Hyde. The letters are somewhat arranged in chronological order, but most are not clearly dated. Many of the letters addressed to Asahel, when unfolded and flattened, are on unually large pieces of paper. One (1) short hand-written note signed "ABH"; two (2) hand-written letters, one dated Wednesday Jan, (?), 1907 and appears to be signed by "Marie J(?)", and the other (a subsequent page of another letter?) is not dated and is signed "A. B. Hyde". (These last three items may have been sent to the University of Denver Special Collections and Archives by the University of Houston Special Collections and Archives - there is a business card included with the materials.)
