Handwritten letter in black ink from Samuel J. Weingarten in Cleveland, Ohio to C.D. Spivak in Denver, Colorado informs that Marcus Weingarten's family, including his son Samuel, have received Spivak's letter informing them that Marcus Weingarten has been invited to enter the JCRS Sanatorium. Samuel Weingarten expresses his family's gratitude for admitting his father especially as they were worried on account of the situation where Marcus Weingarten was practically friendless. Informs that Minnie Weingarten, Samuel's mother and Marcus's wife, cannot write in English but thanks Spivak through Samuel. Letter is signed in black ink by Samuel J. Weingarten.
