Letter from Carrie Kokush to C.D. Spivak, 1909 September 30
Handwritten letter in black ink from Carrie Kokush in Newark, New Jersey to C.D. Spivak in Denver, Colorado begins by telling the recipient that in the year since she has been in Denver she has lost her husband and a three-month-old baby girl, and that her health has been ebbing slowly. Letter states that the sender would like to return to the Sanatorium to be useful among other patients and help however the recipient sees fit. Letter states that the fare can be acquired at any time but the sooner it is settled, the sooner she may put her mind to rest. Letter is signed "Mrs. Carrie (Hruschka) Kokush."
