Abstract
Box 4 contains author files, Weales - Zorn. Also contains pre-1975 author files, A-Z. Materials in the author files include: author bios, correspondence, payment requestions, excerpts, page proofs, edits, corrections, copyright transfers, original pre-translation texts, credits, ads, and more. This box contains materials from authors who published in the Denver Quarterly between 1965-1986.
Additionally, there is a file about how former DQ editor, Raffel, accepted far more stories than the DQ could publish. So in 1977, the new editor, Chambers, had to dis-accept a few. People were not happy. This file contains documents related to this controversy and Chambers' approach to dealing with it (see folder on Ziller, Eugene).
