Copy of letter from Louis Smith to the Isidore Hurwitz Library, 1911 February 16
Typed copy of letter from Louis Smith in Hillsboro, Illinois to the Isidore Hurwitz Library in Edgewater, Colorado informs that Louis Smith receied a letter which he had sent to his brother, Isaac Smith. The letter was returned with a note on the envelope that read "return to sender party deceased." Louis Smith writes to express his surprise that no one at the institution notified him about the death of his brother. Smith requests information regarding when Isaac Smith's death occurred and where he was buried as well as any other particulars like whether there were "any of my people there at the time?" Letter is signed in black ink by Louis Smith.
