Letter from C.D. Spivak to Samuel Dorf, 1910 July 7
Typed leter from C.D. Spivak to Mr. Samuel Dorf, Grand Master Order Brith Abraham in reference to lodge member and former Sanatorium patient Mr. Benj. Barasch. Dr. Spivak writes on behalf of Mr. Barasch, stating that he is a blacksmith by trade who can now longer work outside and who is kindly asking for "$50.00 to $75.00 with which he could start something to do in order to support himself and in time bring over his family to Denver." Dr. Spivak asks Dorf to "kindly let us know at your earliest convenience whether or not Mr. Barasch can expect some assistance from the order." Dr. Spivak states that Mr. Barasch is very anxious, which is not good for his health. Letter is unsigned but "Secretary" is typed at the bottom.
