Abstract
Brothers Sam and Sid Milstein were born to eastern European immigrants in the early 1900s in Denver, Colorado. Their father Harry Milstein raised cattle. In 1928, they became charter members of the Denver Tennis Club. The brothers won doubles chamipionships in the 1930s and 1940s. Sam won his first tennis tournament at age 14 and reached the quarterfinals in the European Senior Championships in Italy in 1958. They opened the Aspen Leaf ski and tennis shop in downtown Denver which later moved to Cherry Creek. In 2000 they were inducted into the Colorado Tennis Hall of Fame.
