Spivak writes that he has received Guttmacher's letter but had not yet received a call from Michelson or an application. Spivak also writes at length about the slow process of having vacancies at JCRS because of the advanced condition of many of the patients. Spivak also congratulates Guttmacher on having a regional institution to support those with tuberculosis in Baltimore.
