Abstract
Typed note that contains a copy of a telegram from H. Masliansky to Dr. C.D. Spivak and the response letter included at the bottom. Telegram is from H. Masliansky and is an appeal to Dr. Spivak on behalf of applicants to JCRS from New York who "wander about the streets homeless and starving." Names mentioned in the telegram are: Cinnamon, Pevareff, Pfeffer, Rosenthal, Kupiter, Kartin, and (Simon) Goldstein. The letter response from Spivak to Masliansky states that the Board of Trustees authorized the JCRS Building Committee to construct a "lean-to for New York patients." Spivak said the lean-to would be completed by May 15 1911 and that those patients would all be admitted and their board taken care of. "C D Spivak, Secretary." is typed at the bottom.
