Letter from C.D. Spivak to S. Margolies, 1909 December 20
Two pages typed letter from Dr. Charles Spivak to Rabbi Samuel Margolies and M. Laufman, 2402 E. 43rd St., Cleveland, Ohio, in which he says there is not a single vacancy for Hyman Hershenhous in the sanatorium at the moment, and during the winter they cannot release any patients because they tend to get worst. He also states they are facing a deficit of $5000 for the last six months. He writes the only solution is to send Mr. Hershenshous to Denver as soon as possible, provide him with sufficient means to pay for his lodging for at least four weeks, and he will take the responsibility to admit him within four weeks after his arrival. Letter is unsigned but "Secretary" is typed at bottom.
