Original Order maintained - materials are organized alphetically, based on Dr. La Pierre's file names and organizational scheme.

Scope and Contents
The collection contains mainly research documents with personal notes, syllabi and lecture notes of classes attended and taught, and raw data collected for Dr. La Pierre's Ph.D. dissertation. Additionally, there are photgraphs, slides, and negatives of art objects, primarily Dr. La Pierre's own work, but also reference photos of Native American art, and a photo series from her cultural research trip to the People's Republic of China in 1983, with photographer Nancy Kuhl.
