Abstract

Box 2 contains thirty-two (32) transcription discs. Discs were produced by the Rocky Mountain Radio Council (a mid-20th century, non-profit confederation of thirty-three (33) educational organizations throughout the Rocky Mountain region). Content of the discs include several "shows," the most prevalent of which is "Knowledge in Action." Other transcribed shows include "Agriculture in the News," "Westward America," "It Appeared Here," and "History in the Making." The discs are in relatively good condition, with only some of the discs showing signs of wear such as palmitic acid buildup and a few with cracked/chipped laminate.
