Letter from C.D. Spivak to B. Lorenz, 1909 December 23
Typed letter from C.D. Spivak to B. Lorenz replying to Lorenz's inquiry about applying to the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society as a patient. Spivak misinterpreted the letter and addressed Lorenz as"Doctor" and gave him details about employment at JCRS including a wage listed as $25.00 a month including board, lodging and laundry. Spivak also asked Lorenz if he spoke German or Yiddish. He mentions that the Medical Advisory Board will meet after New Year's, therefore, Spivak expected a fast reply.
