Abstract

Unknown person recounts the history of some pioneering families and individuals of the Mancos Valley including the William Ward family, Theodore Brooks,Mavin Armstrong, Margaret Ashback, Leona Davenport Brittain, Thomas Jefferson and Semiramus Freeman, Brothers Will, Jeff, and Henry Freeman, Charlie and Mary Freeman, and Anna Lou Freeman. Mrs. Robert Holston reads "Our Old Timers" written by Mattie Holston for the Febuary 17th 1933 edition of "The Mancos Times". Clare Menefee reads a story about Sarah Anna Menefee.
