Abstract

Dorothy Trevino reads an essay Written by Ira Freeman titled "Reminiscing" first published in the Mancos Times about his life in the Mancos Valley in the early to mid 1900's. Dorothy Trevino interviews Maria Decker and Martha Starr:Early citizens of Mancos, Colorado. These interviews are part of a series of oral histories taken in the 1970's, intended to be added to the collection at the Mancos Public Library. These oral histories focus on the establishment of the town of Mancos, Colorado and the experiences of the early settlers.
