Abstract
Mr. Babbitt was born in Flagstaff but raised in Las Angeles. He was schooled in the East and started into business then. He returned to Flagstaff in 1934. He is a principal in the Arizona Livestock Loan Co., the Cataract Livestock Co., and the Espee. Interviewed by Al Richmond, January 15, 1984. Topics discussed include: working under Vic Watson at the Arizona Livestock Loan Co. and eventually taking over management; cattle shipments out of Williams, Anita, and Valley; cattle shipping from the Cataract Livestock Co.; shipping by truck after the railroads ceased cattle shipping; buildings at Anita; and buildings at Valley.
