Interview with William "Bill" B. Sutton for the Grand Canyon Railroad Oral History Project [constructed title], April 2, 1984., 1984, 2005 July 6

Sutton describes his experience as both a laborer as well as an engineer for the Grand Canyon Railroad. He discusses the aspects of the work as well as the route/stops along the railway that they took during the 1930's and 40's, for example, Riordan, Flagstaff, Pitt, Red Lake, Bly, Quivero, Valley etc. He also talks about the types of engines that he had experience in using, the kind of carbo that they transported (namely sheep, cows and water), and about the "navigation" and functioning of the locomotive steam engines as well as the later diesel ones.
