Abstract
Jeanne Williams, author of historical novels, reflects on her childhood growing up in Kansas and Oklahoma. Williams discusses her books, "Valiant Woman," "Harvest of Fury," and many others which are based on the history of the West. Promoting her newest novel "Valiant Woman," Williams discusses westward expansion after the Mexican American War and Civil War and the industries present including mining, trapping, trade, farming, and more. Discusses her research for her novels, particularly the labor unrest and labor organization.
