Letter from A.S. Greenstein to C.D. Spivak, 1910 June 20
Handwritten letter from A.S. Greenstein to C.D. Spivak. Greenstein writes to introduce Miss Rosa Gordon’s case to Spivak. Greenstein tells Spivak that she is a popular young lady to the community and she is on her way to Denver for her health. Greenstein also tells Spivak that the Jewish community in Houston highly recommended Spivak’s worthy institution with the hope that Gordon will receive the best care and attention in Denver. Greenstein also introduces Mr. Abe Gordon as Miss Gordon’s brother who is the president of their congregation and who is actively helping JCRS at every opportunity he can. Greenstein hopes that Spivak will make Miss Gordon’s stay pleasant and that she is taken care of. Greenstein thanks Spivak and signs the letter, “A.S. Greenstein, Secy Congregation Adath Yeshurun” at the bottom.
