Letter from C.D. Spivak to L. Cantor, 1923 February 12
Typed letter from C.D. Spivak to Rev. L. Cantor. Spivak informed Cantor that Mrs. Greenberg’s claim is inaccurate because on October 12th, 1915 JCRS sent Mrs. Greenberg a photo of the monument that was erected on Catherine Queen’ s grave. He also stated that Mrs. Greenberg did not send him $150.00 for the monument, but only sent $75.00 and then another $6.50 was sent later. Spivak told Cantor that Queen died in October 1911 and the monument was erected in October 1915. It seemed to Spivak that the niece must have visited Denver before the erection of the monument.
