Letter from C.D. Spivak to C. Friend, 1911 September 14
Typed letter from C.D. Spivak to C. Friend. Spivak is sorry that Friend did not visit the sanatorium to see the results of JCRS’ efforts to help victims of tuberculosis. Spivak is also sorry that he was not able to obtain Friend’s advice about the cases of Samuel Morris and Lester Strull who are about to leave the sanatorium. Spivak tells Friend that Strull was supposed to be discharged on September 1st, 1911 but his stay was extended while waiting for the arrival of a letter from Mr. Rabinovitch. Spivak finishes the letter by stating that the men’s stay at JCRS has been extended another week while they wait for a reply from Mr. Friend. Spivak hopes to hear from him soon.
