Letter from C.D. Spivak to Dr. A. Granet, 1910 May 26
Typed letter from C.D. Spivak to Dr. A. Granet. Spivak tells Granet that he recently returned from St. Louis and found his letter upon his return. Spivak addressed the concern Granet asked about in his letter which was about the fact the Spivak advised Mr. Schmittmeyer to go back to the East Coast. Spivak tells Granet that Mr. Schmittmeyer gave JCRS his application on December 29th. JCRS also helped him with $10.00, but when Spivak wrote to Schmittmeyer about his admission to the sanatorium he did not care to enter the sanatorium at that time. Spivak says that he has not seen him in quite a long time; therefore, Spivak had no way of advising him to travel back to the East Coast. Spivak tells Granet that the information in his letter does not coincide with the truth and asked Granet if he can provide him with Schmittmeyer’s address so that Spivak can talk to Schmittmeyer about the situation.
