Abstract

Box 289 contains various office materials and documents from the HERS office. These include: a Report to Governor Rudy Perpich (Minnesota), Finance and Audit, Cynthia Secor Memory Book 2005, Search Committee Meeting 8/23/2004 at Wellesley College, Search Candidates 2004-2005, Cynthia Secor Fund 2005, Letters to Presidents, HERS Leadership Project FESTIBA Advisory Council, several Networking Directories, Correspondence, Cynthia Secor Honorary Awards 1999, Administrative Intern Program, University of Nebraska HERS Meeting, Metro State College Survey on Women's Studies Programs, and Colorado's Women's Studies Directory 1977. This box will not be described down to folder level until the rest of this series has been organized.

The Higher Education Resource Services (HERS) records reflect the development of a successful women's organization. The collection contains papers generated by the HERS office from the three last decades of the twentieth century, including correspondence, memorandums, notes, reports, meeting minutes, financial statements, directories, resumes, newsletters, curriculum notebooks, conference announcements, conference evaluations, grant applications, journal articles, newspaper clippings, course catalogs, position announcements, mailing list cards, journals, published materials, ephemera and research materials. The materials date from the late 1960s to the mid-1990s.
