Diary, 1947
Abstract
This is a small black diary from 1947. The outside of the diary is black, and the front of the diary reads "Diary" in gold letters, "Daily Reminder" engraved underneath, with a weathervane also engraved on the front. The diary is in the format of a calendar for 1947, with space to write each day. The writing begins on January 1, 1947 and ends on December 31, 1947. There are various notes throughout, as well as several "memoranda" pages at the back filled with dates and names. All of these names are male names, many are repeated, and the last name to appear is "Ernie Loeb", which suggests that this is a date book kept by Ernest Loeb's wife, Dorothy Anne Katz Loeb.
