Overview

Handwritten letter from H. Abramowitz to C.D. Spivak. Abramowitz tells Spivak that he is skeptical about Leibovitch returning home since he is not fully cured. Abramowtiz says that Leibovitch’s community is very poor and they live in unsanitary conditions. Abramowitz states that Leibovitch’s family also recently lost their daughter from tuberculosis because they could not provide her with care. He explains that there is not a sanatorium near the community and Leibovitch will have to travel far and pay for boarding if he got care somewhere else. Abramowitz tells Spivak that he will have Mrs. Leibovitch and the community create a collection of money so that her son can return home.
