Abstract
Schoch grew up in the Midwest and then traveled the world with the Red Cross during World War II. After living briefly in Chicago with her husband Ed, the Schochs moved to Colorado Springs and opened a hardware business on the west side of town. She describes family life, her role as a mother of three daughters, changes in the community over the past forty years and the unique history of Old Colorado City.
