Abstract
Oral history interview with Mert Williams. Mert speaks of his parents Mr. & Mrs. E.M. Williams coming here from Kansas in a covered wagon in 1902 with their 4 sons, homesteading, owning a brickyard [one of the bricks being used at the College were made in the brickyard], family working for the Calkins farm, hauling freight, working on the Madison Orchards, delivering the Denver Post, Santa Claus, Westminster Grange Hall, Community Church, streets, City ordinances, water, early recreation on Gregory Hill, Trolley to College.
