Letter from C.D. Spivak to A.D. Joffe, 1911 May 10
Letter from C.D. Spivak to A.D. Joffe. Spivak thanks Joffe and other National Directors for the money and assistance JCRS has received from them. Spivak also thanks Joffe for making Miss Horney’s visit a success in Rochester, New York. Spivak also corrects Joffe about the amount sent from the various checks. Spivak states that a total amount of $708.00 should have been sent, but Spivak only found $659.00. Spivak tells Joffe that a few check must not have been sent and asked Joffe to investigate the matter. Spivak also tells Joffe that it would have been better to send the $40.00 for Aaronson’s boarding so that he can pay for his board directly. Spivak tells Joffe that JCRS still appreciates the course of action the National Directors took and thanks Joffe for all of the work he has done.
