Abstract

Container 429 is a 16mm film titled, "The Treasure and the Trinket". The only identifying marks were on the original film can which read: "A Sound Motion Picture Production By Rippey, Henderson, Bucknum--Name of Film, The Treasure and the Trinket, and Name of Client, Colorado Women's College". The upper left of the sticker on the original film can had "Rev. Pilot" typed and "#13" was handwritten at the bottom.

The records of Colorado Women's College document the history of the College from its inception in 1888 to its merger with the University of Denver in 1982. Included in the records are all administrative records, academic programs, trustee documents, trustee meeting minutes, financial records and publications. The records also contain student newspapers, yearbooks, scrapbooks, photographs and slides, audio and video recordings, and student publications such as the student newspaper, The Western Graphic.
