Abstract
A close-up image of the now extinct Passenger Pigeon, from John James Audubon’s The Birds of America: From Drawings Made in the United States and their Territories published in 1840, alongside a high-resolution image of a Passenger Pigeon specimen created from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science’s extinct bird collection. This display was featured in in the site-specific art installation, HYLAEA, in Penrose Library, at the University of Denver from October 14th, 2010- February 14th, 2011.
