Abstract
This reel contains J.V. Cunningham speaking at the University of Denver on April 7, 1966 as part of the English Department Lecture Series. Cunningham's lecture is an in depth discussion of Wallace Stevens' personal life as well as his poetry. Cunningham states that the intention of the lecture is two fold: to sort out the poetry of Wallace Stevens and understand it. Cunningham relates pieces of Stevens' life and reads selections of his poetry.
