This collection contains materials related to Daniel L. Ritchie, the 16th Chancellor of the University of Denver, including inauguration materials, newspaper clippings, publications and speeches by Ritchie, administrative files, photo albums, video tapes, leather bookmarks and a map of the Colorado Territory (1876).

Arrangement

This box and its contents were originally located in the DU Business and Financial Affairs Collection (U113). However, as these materials are specifically related to the land donation of Rancho Cielo from Daniel Ritchie, they have been moved to this collection. Other materials about the sale of DU-owned land to outside entities (including the sale of Rancho Cielo) can be found in U113.
