University of Denver Woodstock West Protesters On Denver Street, May 5th-13th 1970
Abstract
A group of protestors march down 16th Street in Downtown Denver: One wears a trangle shaped hat, one holds an American Flag, one participant is on the street and being helped up by another. A crowd is gathered on the sidewalk, watching those who are in the street. Protesters march as part of a multi-day Vietnam War protest nicknamed "Woodstock West" that took place both on the University of Denver (DU) campus and downtown Denver, Colorado. Protesters mourn the killings of four students on the Kent State University campus days earlier.
