Abstract

A shot of a large crowd gathered on the lawn of the Denver Capitol building, many sitting and facing away from the building. A few signs can be seen- a drawing of a raised fist, and a large banner, reads "Do it with love"- as part of a multi-day Vietnam War protest nicknamed "Woodstock West" that took place both on the University of Denver (DU) campus and downtown Denver, Colorado. Protesters mourn the killings of four students on the Kent State University campus days earlier.
