Biographical / Historical
Gregory graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Sports Fitness/Kinesiology and Dance where he earned the Best Dancer Award. He danced the majority of his career at Colorado Ballet where he was promoted to Principal in 1997 and for Ballet Ariel as a resident guest artist. He was Choreographer-in-Residence for the 2003-2004 Colorado Ballet season and has also choreographed for several other companies, universities, and schools as well as having his work selected for the Denver Independent Choreographer’s Project and the Aspen Dance Connection Choreography Festival. Gregory has also performed and played guitar for The Natural Tango Orquesta. Gregory teaches the Anatomy In Clay System® for dancers which is part of the Colorado Ballet Academy Summer Intensive Program and Pre-Professional Program, teaches anatomical classes called The 4 in 1 that he developed with Amy Anderson and Kim Long, and has worked for Zahourek Systems, Inc.
