Abstract

Black and white photograph of a courtroom in the Nuremberg Palace of Justice during the Flick trial. Standing at the podium in center-front (with back turned to photographer) is Edwin Sears. Display board on left hand side of photograph outlines "The Flick Concern"; the other text is unreadable. The Flick trial was one of the Subsequent Nuremberg Trials that occurred in Nuremberg, Germany, after the end of World War II. This trial involved allegations of slave labor and plundering on the part of Friedrich Flick and five other directors of Flick's group of companies. Includes inscription on reverse of the photograph: "From Public Relations Photo Section Office Chief of Counsel for War Crimes Nurnberg, Germany, APO 696-A, US Army Our Photo No. OMT-V-6V-9"
