Rotogravure Project, 1968-1972
Abstract
In 1965, Bess Laderman, then Guild president, returned from a conference with ideas for a fund raising project for the Orchestra. She saw photo sections of the "St. Louis Dispatch" and a Toronto paper which were devoted to the symphony orchestras. Bess Laderman became the chair of the Rotogravure committee. In 1969, the Guild produced the first Rotogravure Advertising Supplement. The "Denver Post" published the supplement and enclosed it in a Sunday edition. The last Rotogravure Supplement was published in 1973. The file contains Rotogravure stationary, instructions and forms, and information on publishing.
