Abstract

The box contains astronomical photographs, grant proposals for renovations and conservation of the observatory, along with conservation recommendations and construction specifications. It also contains the Denver Landmark application, Historical Fund applications, 100th anniversary pamphlets, Chamberlin Observatory operator’s manuals, articles about the observatory and its history, and copies of a paper authored by J.B. Blizard about the observatory from 1967.

This collection contains information about the Physics and Astronomy Department. It includes syllabi, degree and program information, correspondence, reports, manuals, publications, personal records, photographs, and administrative records. There are also aerial photographs of Mt. Evans and Echo Lake. Recently, information about Chamberlin Observatory and Mt. Evans Observatory were added. This information includes grant proposals, conservation information, articles, photographs, MOG event information, and guestbooks for the observatory on Mt. Evans.
