Abstract

A pen and ink depiction of a German mountain trooper in uniform with edelweiss flower emblem for the Jaeger Divisions on the side of his cape, with a note that Jacques Parker sketched the portrait on a hill in Italy in February 1945, together with one of the actual emblems that appears to have been cut off a cap.
