Abstract

Marble paperweight given by Rose Memorial Hospital at the 3rd Armored Division reunion. Has a brown mounting on the back with a hole at the top, possibly for hanging purposes. The paperweight is 4 x 4 x 0.5 inches.

Collection contains a copy of the Colorado History News from April 1995; a copy of the book "The First Twenty-Five Years of the General Rose Memorial Hospital 1945-1970"; a copy of the book "Major General Maurice Rose: The Most Decorated Battletank Commander in U.S. Military History." It also contains a print of recently restored painting of General Maurice Rose, news clippings, photographs, scrapbooks, correspondence, and research materials.

Inscriptions and Marks

Inscription on the front in black etched lettering: "RMC Rose Medical Center Denver, Colorado, A Continuing Tribute to General Maurice Rose, 3rd Armored "Spearhead" Division Reunion 1983, YOU MADE IT HAPPEN." There is an etched image of Rose Medical Center in the center of the paperweight.
