Abstract

Mounted photograph of 7 people stading before a Star of David during a 2003 Denver B'nai Brith Jewish Relief Mission to the Santa Clara Jewish Congregation meeting place at the Home of Virginia Cardenas Yaech. Denver B'nai B'rith and the Santa Clara Jewish Congregation exchanged gifts. In the center are David Tacher (holding Menora), President of Santa Clara Jewish Congregation which had approximately 25 members; Ed Koplin (holding wooden "La Chaim"... plaque;" and Virginia Cardenas Yaech to the right of Ed Koplin.

The collection contains administrative records (including minutes), correspondence, and financial, membership, and miscellaneous records, as well as publications, photographs, memorabilia, and oral histories. The collection reflects the growth and development of a major social and philanthropic organization, and reveals the origins of Jewish institutions and organizations in Colorado. The collection also contains documents and photographs of the B'nai B'rith Youth Organization between the years 1969-1971 and records of other B'nai B'rith Units, Lodges, and Organizations.
