Abstract
Max Goldberg was a newsboy for 17 years and wrote a column for the Denver Post "Side Street" where he covered newsmakers. He also was a radio sports broadcaster at the age of 21. His television show "On the Spot," where he interviewed national newsmakers and celebrities, was on air from 1952 to 1966. Max Goldberg knew some of the celebrities from fund raising activities for the General Maurice Rose Memorial Hospital. File contains a 1963 TV Guide listings for "On the Spot" and a TV Weekly, 1953, story featuring Max Goldberg and several photographs from his TV shows. The file also contains CDs and a flashdrive containing twelve "On the Spot" recordings, photos of autographs of 64 of his guests and copies of photographs of some of his guests. The files have been downloaded and are part of the digital portion of the collection.
