Abstract

One (1) 8x10 black and white photograph of Kenneth Collins being presented an award by Mrs. Adela De Geus and David Mahler. Contained within the folder is a publicity release describing the photo from Eli Jeffe the New York Publicity Director. "Kenneth Collins, (center) vice-president of Burlington Industries, Inc., is awarded a testimonial scroll for his "distinguished philanthropic service to the needy tuberculous of all faiths" by Mrs. Adela De Geus, a former patient at the National Jewish Hospital at Denver as David Mahler, the institution's natioal campaign director, looks on. Mr. Collins has been active in enlisting support for the free, non-sectarian medical center for tuberculosis and chest diseases and is currently a sponser of the Hospital's 56th anniversary dinner in honor of Andrew Goodman, president of Bergdorf-Goodman, to be held in June at the Waldorf-Astoria". The press relase has substantial marginalia not included in this description.
