Abstract

Box 1 contains assorted documents from the YMCA and YWCA's presence at DU. Folders are arranged alphabetically: a 4th edition constitution; correspondence from 1918; invitations, agendas, and activities from events in the 30s; a pamphlet from an associated high school night at the university in 1924; a folder of the history from 1891 to 1967; memorabilia, meaning cards for donations and membership; the newsletter, the Y's Owl, from 193; two photographs from a 1912 YWCA conference; press articles from 1907 to 1969; two folders on publications, one containing the first volume and issue of the Vigil and An Assertation of Dignity, the other containing general publications and information on governance; the 1891-1892 student handbook produced by the YMCA for new DU students; and reports from 1915, 1916, and 1920.
