Box 9: Unbound Scrapbooks, 1941-1977
Abstract
Box contains two unbound scrapbooks for Alpha Gamma Delta, one from 1976-77 and a larger one from 1941-1955. In this series, scrapbook pages contain extensive press clippings. The scrapbook from 1976-77 begins with press clippings surrounding a campus "prank" incident in which three fraternities (Lambda Chi Alpha, Phi Kappa Sigma, and Kappa Sigma) left a mutilated calf on Alpha Gamma Delta's doorstop in supposed retaliation for some of the sorority's pranks. The fraternities faced major disciplinary actions.
